Mau Ke Mana’s new airport transfer service.

Arriving in a new country for the first time can be difficult and stressful, particularly if you don’t speak the local language.

Wouldn’t it be nice if there was someone to help you through the first few uncomfortable minutes after you exit the airport terminal?

Now there is:

Starting 13 May 2013, Mau Ke Mana will offer a comprehensive meet and greet/airport transfer service. As well as a comfortable ride from the airport to your preferred destination, there are many (optional) additional services:

• A local SIM card
  Perfect for avoiding expensive international roaming charges. A small amount of credit comes with the starter pack; extra credit can also be requested in advance. Assistance can also be provided with the compulsory pre-registration, if required.
• Moneychanger
  The exact amount would be arranged in advance. Available in these 19 currencies.



• Interpreter
  As well as speaking good English, the greeter can help resolve e.g. any issues with hotel management about your room or checking in.



• Local tourist information
  The greeter has local knowledge and can recommend suitable places and activities.

How does Pick Me Up work?

1. The client fills in a short enquiry form a minimum of 7 days in advance.
2. Mau Ke Mana replies with a quote.
3. If the client agrees, they send payment via Paypal.
4. Mau Ke Mana sends the client their greeter’s photo and an emergency contact telephone number.
5. On the day, the greeter will hold a large colour sign with the client’s name and their country’s flag.

Where is Pick Me Up available?

Please note: This service is not only for visitors arriving on international flights; it is also suitable for visitors arriving on domestic flights.

Pick Me Up is now available in the following cities:

• Jakarta
• Lombok
• Surabaya
• Ambon

In addition, Pick Me Up is also available in Lombok and Ambon for rides TO THE AIRPORT also. This is ideal for e.g. visitors travelling from the Gili Islands to Lombok Airport.

Why the name Pick Me Up?

As well as collecting and driving someone, a “pick me up” can also mean a happy feeling from a positive experience. This meet and greet service intends to provide both, and give a welcoming first impression and stress-free introduction to your destination.
